Hello. My name is Kyungwoo Kim. I’m in charge of managing `Navigation flight data` at the Asiana Airlines. I was born in Busan which is the second biggest city in Korea. I appear to be a “Busanmen” at first. The word, “Busanmen” is used to express Busan people’s quick-tempered, tough and stubborn characteristic. However, I have careful, tender and sociable characteristic.

I've never heard of a "Busanman" but I think it describes a lot of people in Korea. I met a "Busanman" once but in Kyungju. I took a bus to Kyungju to see some temples and I forgot my cell phone on the bus. I went back to get my phone but the bus driver wouldn't give it to me. He started talking but it seemed like he was yelling. I got angry and went to the police station.I later found out that he was joking, and that I misunderstood his tone. I was so upset that I left the police station without taking my phone. It was a terrible experience. I never got my phone back and I haven't returned to Kyungju since. I'm sure I will some day but I'll drive next time and keep my cell phone close by.

I agree with Jiseon, and you look very cosiderate, too. It's my first time to heard about the words "Busanman". It's a interesting word. Busan is my first travel place after taking entrance exam for University, so I still have good impression about "Busan".
ReplyDeleteBusan is a beautiful city but I'm not overly eager to go there on a vacation. I've heard a lot of good things about Busan but BUSANMAN scares me. :)
